Free tools for Minecraft players

minecraft.pl offers a set of interactive tools that suit new players and experienced map makers, server admins and builders alike. Every tool runs directly in your browser, so there is nothing to download, install or sign up for. Just open the page and start using it.

Command generators

Three generators, /give, /summon and /execute, cover the commands people use most in Minecraft Java Edition. Instead of typing the syntax and NBT data by hand, you pick options from a menu and copy the finished command. The /give generator hands out items to players quickly, /summon spawns mobs with full configuration (name, AI, equipment), and /execute builds chains of subcommands visually for advanced contraptions. Each generator lists items and mobs by name, so you don't have to look up IDs.

The generators are especially handy for adventure map makers, server admins and players building contraptions with command blocks. If you are just getting started with commands, take a look at our redstone guide. It covers the basics that help you understand how commands work together with redstone circuits.

Enchantment calculator

The enchantment calculator solves one of the most frustrating problems in the game: combining several enchantments on one item without hitting the anvil's 39-level cap. Pick an item (a sword, pickaxe, bow, armor, anything), click the enchantments you want, and the calculator suggests the best combining order and an estimated XP cost. If you want to go deeper, we have a full enchanting guide that describes every enchantment and the strategies for building perfect gear.

Seed map: an interactive map for any seed

The Minecraft seed map lets you look at an entire world generated from any seed before you even launch the game. Enter a seed, choose the version and the dimension, and the map shows biomes and structures: villages, strongholds, ancient cities, ocean monuments and slime chunks. Everything is generated in your browser, with nothing to install and no changes to your world. For ready-made seeds with descriptions, try the seed search.

3D skin viewer

The skin viewer shows the skin of any Java Edition player in an interactive 3D view. Type a username, rotate the model with your mouse, switch animations (walking, running, flying) and download the skin or a screenshot. You can also upload your own PNG to see how it looks before you set it in the launcher. If you want to know how to change your skin in the game, see our guide to changing your skin.

Shader comparison

Picking a shader can be overwhelming: there are dozens of packs, each with different effects and hardware requirements. Our shader comparison lets you filter the 15 most popular shader packs by compatibility (Iris, OptiFine), visual style and the performance level of your PC. You can pick two shaders and compare them side by side. If you don't know where to start with graphics mods, read our shader guide or the mod installation instructions.

Got an idea for a tool?

We're working on more tools: a potion brewing recipe generator, an interactive biome map and an armor durability calculator. If you have an idea for a tool that would make the game easier for you, get in touch!
