Minecraft 3D skin viewer
Enter a Minecraft (Java Edition) username or upload your own PNG skin to view it in an interactive 3D view. Rotate the model, change the animation and background, then download the skin or a screenshot.
How to use the skin viewer
Enter a username
Type a Minecraft Java Edition username into the search field and click "Show". The skin is fetched automatically from Mojang's servers.
Or upload your own skin
You can also upload your own skin PNG file (64x64 or 64x32 pixels). The file must be a PNG, the standard format for Minecraft skins.
Interact with the model
Rotate the model with the mouse (drag), zoom with the scroll wheel and pick an animation: idle, walking, running, flying and more.
Download the result
Download the original skin PNG file or take a screenshot of the 3D model. Great for sharing on forums and social media.
Frequently asked questions
Can I look up the skin of any player?
Yes, as long as the player has a Minecraft Java Edition account. Just type in the exact username. Skins from Bedrock Edition are not available through this viewer.
What format is a Minecraft skin file?
Minecraft skins are PNG files of 64x64 pixels (the newer format) or 64x32 pixels (the older format). The viewer supports both formats and automatically detects the model type (classic or slim).
Is my data safe?
Yes. The viewer runs entirely in your browser. We don't collect any personal data. Uploaded skins are processed locally and are not sent anywhere.
Why can't I see a player's skin?
Make sure you enter the exact username (capitalization doesn't matter). If the player has never changed their skin, the default Steve or Alex skin is shown.
