Miner's Wrath, Lord Dracula, and the Pharaoh are waiting on the third floors of dungeons on MCSV.PL, a partner server of minecraft.pl. The server's slogan is "Survival + RPG," and it captures the idea well: classic Minecraft survival with dungeons, bosses, quests, and skills added on top. On our Minecraft server list, it's a pick for players looking for something between vanilla and a full RPG.

The server has 3 guilds (Hunters, Miners, and Breeders), each with its own pool of quests and rewards in XP and gold, plus 15 skills described in Polish and over 60 new enchantments. New players get guided step by step: on joining, the screen shows "Type /rtp to set out into the world," and chat displays a clickable 7-step guide. If you're still standing at spawn after 20 seconds, you get randomly teleported automatically.

The /rtp command itself can reach up to 10,000 blocks away, and you can use it again after a 5-second cooldown. The server also requires a resource pack, so you'll need to accept it when you join.

Dungeons on MCSV.PL: 3 dungeons, 9 floors, and bosses

Dungeons are the heart of the server's RPG layer. There are 3 of them, each with 3 floors, and each requires its own key:

  • Abandoned Mine (Skeleton Key): Forgotten Tunnels, Overgrown Shaft, and Forbidden Cavern, where Miner's Wrath awaits.
  • Haunted Cemetery (Dracula's Key): Haunted Cemetery, Crypt, and Dracula's Castle with Lord Dracula.
  • Ancient Ruins (Desert Key): Desert Canyon, Ancient City, and the Pyramid ruled by the Pharaoh.

Before you move on to the next floor, you need to defeat between 25 and 50 monsters, and on some floors the threshold increases by 10 for every additional player in the party. KeepInventory is active on dungeon floors, so dying won't make you lose your inventory. A defeated boss respawns after 5 minutes.

It's best to tackle dungeons in a party, which you form with the /party command. A party holds up to 4 people, its members automatically accept each other's /tpa requests, deal 50% less damage to each other, can't enter combat mode against each other, and can see each other on the compass.

A separate story is the Crawling Depths, a dungeon in the wild with portals hidden underground, between Y -16 and Y -48. There's a boss waiting there, an NPC named Harry, and puzzles, but the rules are stricter: you lose your items on death, and you can't place or break blocks.

Minibosses in the wild and dungeon keys

Dungeon keys drop from minibosses that spawn in the wild. Every mob spawn has a 4% chance of turning into a miniboss, and there's a 15-minute cooldown between minibosses. In-game, minibosses have English names, and which one you encounter depends on the biome:

  • Skeleton Chieftain in forests: drops a Skeleton Key with a 30%, 60%, or 100% chance, depending on the boss's level.
  • Nosferatu in highland biomes: can drop Dracula's Key.
  • Desert Outcast in dry biomes: can drop the Desert Key.
  • Golem in the jungle: doesn't drop a key, so it's not worth your time if you're after dungeons.

The wild isn't just about bosses. Alongside mobs known from vanilla, which we cover in our mob wiki, you'll run into the Zombie Knight, the Tarantula, and the Atomic Creeper, as well as grizzly bears, crocodiles, and goblins. The world also uses the Terralith, Tectonic, Geophilic, and Dungeons and Taverns datapacks.

Claims under /dzialka: what they protect, and what they don't

You secure your plot with the /dzialka utworz command. A claim starts at 10x10 and can grow up to 50x50, and setting one up costs 5000 in the in-game currency (check your balance with /saldo). There must be at least a 20-block gap between claims. The remaining subcommands:

  • /dzialka powieksz: expands the claim,
  • /dzialka zaufaj <nick> and /dzialka nieufaj: grant or remove access for friends,
  • /dzialka granice and /dzialka info: show the claim's boundaries and info,
  • /dzialka ustawdom and /dzialka dom: set a return point and teleport there after 5 seconds,
  • /dzialka usun: removes the claim.

Claims don't expire, so your plot won't disappear if you take a longer break. There are two catches to the protection, though, that you should know before placing your first chest: PvP is active on claims, and explosions ignore claim protection. A Creeper or TNT will punch a hole through a wall despite claim protection, so thicker walls and chests tucked deeper in are just common sense here.

Useful commands on MCSV.PL

Many commands have Polish names, so you don't need to remember the English equivalents. For your first hours of play, this cheat sheet should cover you:

  • /menu: the server's main panel,
  • /zadania (or /questy): quests and story,
  • /umiejetnosci and /odznaki: your skills and badges across 5 categories,
  • /dzienna: a reward every 24 hours on a 7-day cycle, which restarts from scratch if 49 hours pass since the last claim,
  • /zestaw: a basic kit every 3 hours,
  • /sethome, /home, and /spawn: returning home and to spawn (you start with 1 home),
  • /tpa <nick>, /tpaccept, and /tpdeny: teleports to friends with a 5-second delay,
  • /pomoc, /helpop, and /regulamin: help, a question to staff, and the server's 8 rules.

How to join MCSV.PL on Java and Bedrock

On Java, add the server with the address mcsv.pl, without adding a port. The server accepts version 1.20 and newer, and you'll get the best experience on 26.2 (you'll find the releases in our Minecraft Java Edition downloads section). On Bedrock, add the server mcsv.pl with port 19132 (bedrock.mcsv.pl also works), and connections from Bedrock are handled by Geyser.

If the server asks for a password, set one with /register, then log in with /login. Accept the resource pack, type /rtp, and head out to hunt your first miniboss. You can ask questions on the MCSV.PL Discord, and you'll find the server's description at mcsv.pl.
