MiniGames.pl, minecraft.pl's partner server, offers 19 party-style minigames for Minecraft, from Block Party and TNT Run to Hot Chairs and Spleef. Every one of them runs on all 6 arenas, and the whole minigame presentation, including the rule descriptions, is in Polish. The MOTD tagline reads: "Jump, fight, and win with your crew!"

If you're browsing our list of Minecraft servers looking for quick rounds with friends, below you'll find the rules for every game, each in one sentence.

How gameplay works on MiniGames.pl

The minigames run on the Blue Arcade plugin. An arena holds anywhere from 2 to 24 players, one session is 8 rounds, and the next game is decided by vote. Round time limits vary a lot: from 60 seconds (Well Jump) to 15 minutes (TNT Tag).

You don't need to know any commands to play. After connecting, the server takes you to spawn, and walking into the portal at spawn triggers quick join (/ba quickjoin). Explosion damage is disabled across the entire server, and you don't need to download any resource pack.

The 19 minigames on MiniGames.pl and their rules

We split the games into four groups to make it easier to find something for you. The names come from the Polish translation used on the server, so you'll see exactly these in-game.

Combat and eliminations

  • Każdy na Każdego (Free for All): PvP with swords, bows and blocks, where the last player alive wins, and in the respawn variant the winner is whoever has the most eliminations when time runs out.
  • Knockback: using a Stick with Knockback you push rivals into the void, and depending on the variant the winner is either the last player on the map or the one who knocked off the most players.
  • One In The Chamber: you get a Bow and a single Arrow, every hit is an elimination that returns the Arrow to you, and a Wooden Sword serves as a backup weapon.
  • Bitwa na Śnieżki (Snowball Fight): you eliminate rivals with Snowballs and win either as the last one standing on the field or with the most eliminations.

Races to the finish

  • Wyścig (Race): you sprint to the finish line, dodging deadly blocks and obstacles.
  • Wyścig Mostów (Bridge Race): you build a bridge to the finish line, and whoever gets there first wins.
  • Strefa Prędkości (Speed Zone): you sprint to the finish line and you're out if you hit a wall.
  • Pole Minowe (Minefield): you cross a minefield whose tiles launch you into the air instead of sending you back to the start, and the first to reach the finish wins.
  • Światła Drogowe (Traffic Lights): you move on green, freeze on red, and have to reach the finish without getting caught moving.

Survive on a vanishing floor

  • Block Party: music plays, then a color appears and you have to stand on a tile of that color before the rest of the floor disappears (the game also includes power-ups).
  • Czerwony Alarm (Red Alert): floor tiles overheat randomly or under players' feet and disappear, and whoever survives longest wins.
  • TNT Run: a floor made of Sand and TNT collapses beneath every step you take, so whoever stays on the board the longest wins.
  • Spleef: you dig the Snow out from under your rivals' feet, and the last player left on the board wins.
  • Splegg: you shoot Eggs that destroy the floor under your opponents, and you win by being the last one left on the board.
  • Wybuchowe Owce (Explosive Sheep): you shear Sheep before their visible fuse burns out, or else they'll explode and blow holes in the floor.

Party games

  • Gorące Krzesła (Hot Chairs): you dance while the music plays, and when it stops you sit down, because whoever doesn't sit is out.
  • TNT Tag: each round random players get TNT and have to pass it on before it explodes, and the goal is to survive every round.
  • Skok do Studni (Well Jump): you jump from above into a well filled with Water, landing in the Water earns points while missing it costs you points.
  • Ucieczka przed Bestią (Escape the Beast): the runners collect gear from chests scattered across the map and work together to defeat the Beast.

Escape the Beast is the only game where the runners play together against a shared enemy. In the other 18, everyone plays for themselves, so sometimes you'll end up knocking a teammate off the board too.

Blue Arcade commands worth knowing from the start

Most things can be handled with the /ba command plus the right suffix. The most useful ones are:

  • /ba quickjoin: quick join a game, same as using the portal at spawn,
  • /ba join and /ba leave: join and leave a game,
  • /ba vote: vote for the next minigame,
  • /ba stats, /ba level and /ba achievements: stats, level and achievements,
  • /ba tops: all-time, monthly and yearly leaderboards,
  • /ba lang: change the language, if you'd prefer something other than Polish.

How to join MiniGames.pl on Java and Bedrock

On Java, add the server with the address minigames.pl, without specifying a port. The server runs on version 1.21.11 and accepts older clients all the way back to 1.8 (you can find those releases in our Minecraft Java Edition downloads section). On Bedrock, enter minigames.pl or bedrock.minigames.pl with port 19132, and players on Minecraft Bedrock Edition land on the same arenas as Java players.

If the server asks for a password, set one with /register, and log in with /login on subsequent visits. On MiniGames.pl it's best to hop in with friends: you can arrange that on the MiniGames.pl Discord, and you can read more about the server at minigames.pl.
