Description

Autumn Shaders turns Minecraft into an autumn scene with warm orange and brown tones. Leaves take on fall colors (orange, red, brown), the sunlight is low and golden, and the morning fog is thick and warm. Sunsets are especially beautiful, with orange-to-purple gradients. The shader is lightweight and easy to configure.

How to install Autumn Shaders

1. Make sure you have Iris Shaders (recommended) or OptiFine installed. For step-by-step instructions, see Iris Shaders.
2. Download Autumn Shaders from the official site. The file is a .zip archive.
3. Don't unzip the archive. Copy the whole .zip file into the .minecraft/shaderpacks/ folder.
4. Launch Minecraft, open Options, then Video Settings, then Shader Packs, and select Autumn Shaders from the list.
5. Adjust the shader settings to suit your taste and your hardware.

Does Autumn Shaders work on Iris?

Yes, Autumn Shaders is compatible with both Iris Shaders and OptiFine. We recommend Iris with Sodium for its higher performance and better compatibility with Fabric mods.

What graphics card do I need for Autumn Shaders?

The minimum graphics card is the GTX 750 Ti. For comfortable gameplay (60+ FPS at 1080p), we recommend the GTX 1050. If you don't know which card you have, press Win + R, type dxdiag and check the Display tab.

Can I use Autumn Shaders with a texture pack?

Yes. Shaders work great with texture packs. Pairing Autumn Shaders with a PBR pack (such as Patrix, Stratum or UMSOEA) gives especially impressive results, because the shader can use the extra material information stored in the pack's normal and specular maps.

Does Autumn Shaders work on servers?

Yes. Shaders run only on the client side and don't require any changes on the server. You can use Autumn Shaders on any server, regardless of its configuration.
