Powah - compact energy generators
An elegant energy mod with a tiered generator system, wireless transfer and a minimalist design.
What is Powah?
Powah is an elegant energy mod created by Lollipop that delivers a complete set of generators, cables and energy storage in one consistent, tiered system. Every generator comes in several tiers (from Starter to Nitro), and the minimalist block design keeps power setups looking clean and tidy.
The star of Powah is the Ender Cell, a wireless energy transmitter that works like an Ender Chest, but for FE. It connects generators to machines without cables, even between dimensions. That gets rid of ugly cable networks and simplifies the layout of your base.
Powah is popular in modpacks as a lighter alternative to Mekanism Generators: it provides FE energy without the complexity of fuel chains. Magmators, solar panels, thermoelectric generators and Uraninite reactors give you power options at every stage of the game.
Main features
- Furnator - a generator that burns fuel (coal, wood, blaze rods). Simple and available from the start of the game. Higher tiers burn faster and more efficiently.
- Magmator - a generator that runs on magma/lava. Connect a lava pipe and it produces steady energy. The Nitro Magmator is one of the best energy sources in the early-to-mid game.
- Solar Panel - solar panels that work during the day. Compact and fuel-free. The Nitro Solar Panel produces a decent amount of FE.
- Reactor - a Uraninite reactor with water cooling, a solid endgame power source.
- Ender Cell - wireless energy transfer between any two points on the map. Color channels let you run several independent power networks.
How to install Powah
