Minecraft has added Rob a Mob to its Featured Servers list on Bedrock Edition, a new server from the Enchanted Games network where players hunt mobs, collect their rare mutations, and steal from each other in PvP battles. The announcement was published on minecraft.net on October 29, 2026, and the server itself hit the Bedrock server list a few days earlier, on October 27.

Hunting mobs and rare mutations

Rob a Mob is described as a "collect-and-steal adventure." In the official announcement, Mojang Studios wrote: "Plan the perfect heist in Rob a Mob, a new collect-and-steal adventure. Hunt valuable mobs, discover rare mutations, and build your collection." Players head out hunting, looking for valuable mobs they can capture, tame, and add to their own collection.

A key element of the gameplay is mutations, rare mob variants that have higher value and are harder to obtain than the standard creatures known from the mob wiki. The rarer the specimen, the greater the prestige and potential profit within the server's economy, which fuels competition among players chasing the most valuable finds.

PvP: raiding rival bases

Collecting mobs is only half the fun. Once PvP is unlocked, players can raid rival bases and seize their best mobs, which gives Rob a Mob a clearly confrontational edge. The developers warn in the description, though: "Unlock PvP to raid rival bases and steal their best mobs. Just remember to defend your mobs too!" In other words, defending your own collection matters just as much as attacking other players' bases.

This kind of gameplay blends mechanics familiar from skyblock or survival servers with PvP competition, which might remind players of raid mechanics on so-called lifesteal servers. Players need to plan both offense and defense, building protections around their most valuable mobs.

Enchanted Games, the network behind the server

Rob a Mob comes from Enchanted, one of the biggest server networks on Bedrock Edition, running at play.enchanted.gg. Besides Rob a Mob, the network also offers other modes such as:

  • OP SMP: a survival multiplayer with expanded permissions
  • BedWars SMP: a combination of classic BedWars with survival elements
  • Mines: mining and resource gathering
  • Dragons: a mode focused on fighting dragons
  • Treasure Hunt: treasure hunting
  • Steal a Mob: an earlier version of the mob-stealing concept, currently in technical preview

Rob a Mob was added to the list as a "Featured experience," meaning an experience promoted directly by Mojang Studios, not just a regular "Creator experience." Featured Servers are community servers partnered with Mojang Studios, accessible directly from the built-in server list in Bedrock Edition without needing to manually enter an IP address.

How to play Rob a Mob on Bedrock Edition

Access to Featured Servers requires a Microsoft account, and on consoles, a paid online subscription as well, this applies to both Xbox and PlayStation. Players on Switch, phones, or Windows can join the server without any extra subscription fees beyond the game itself.

To find Rob a Mob, just go to the servers tab in Minecraft Bedrock Edition and look for it on the featured experiences list, the same way you'd find other titles visible on the server list. You can also join manually by entering the address play.enchanted.gg on port 19132. Anyone who hasn't installed Bedrock Edition yet can find it in the Bedrock Edition download section.
