After the September 29, 2026 release date for Minecraft Dungeons II was confirmed in June at the Xbox Games Showcase, Mojang Studios and publisher Xbox Game Studios have filled in the rest of the picture: full pricing, edition variants and bonuses for buying early.

2 editions to choose from

The game will be sold in 2 variants:

  • Standard Edition - 129 zł, includes the base game only.
  • Deluxe Edition - 219 zł, adds the Soul Cape, a Blub companion pet, 4 extra hero skins and access to DLC 1 and 2 when they release. Owners of the Standard Edition can buy the Deluxe upgrade for 89 zł (90 zł on the PlayStation Store).

Pre-order bonus: only until launch

Players who buy before launch, regardless of the edition they pick, will get an extra pack: 2 hero skins, the Twisted Cape and a Twisted Chicken companion pet. The offer is valid only until the game's release.

Platforms and Game Pass

Minecraft Dungeons II will launch simultaneously on PC (Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will get access on launch day at no extra cost, just like with other Xbox Game Studios launch titles.

What's new in gameplay

The developers at Double Eleven, who are working on the game together with Mojang Studios, promise a brand-new story about a growing threat, an Overworld map and new inventory slots. Among the enemies is the previously announced boss, the Twisted Warden.

Why this matters to Polish players

Minecraft.pl has already reported that Dungeons II will be playable live at gamescom 2026. Now players have the concrete details they need to make a purchase decision: exact prices, what the Deluxe Edition contains, and a hard deadline for pre-ordering so you don't miss out on the bonus items. For fans of the first game, which came out in 2020 and built up a solid player base in Poland too, this is the first full-fledged sequel in a long time to the dungeon crawler series set in the Minecraft universe.
