Minecraft Dungeons II is celebrating its first major marketing collaboration: Domino's is giving away 20,000 digital copies of the game as part of a joint promotion with Mojang Studios. The campaign kicked off on October 26, 2026 and runs through November 4, covering 19 markets worldwide, including Poland.
How to get a game code
The rules are simple: buy a Domino's pizza and register your proof of purchase at dominos.com/minecraft-dungeons-ii to enter the drawing for a code. Every day during the promotion, 2,000 tokens redeemable for the game are handed out, which adds up to the aforementioned 20,000 copies total. The codes only work on PC and Xbox, and redemption happens through the minecraft.net/redeem page.
Anyone who misses the pre-November 4 ordering window doesn't need to worry too much: the redemption deadline for codes already claimed has been extended to December 31, 2027, giving plenty of time to download the game, even for those who grab a code at the last minute.
Six boxes, one Zombie Pig
The marketing side of the collaboration centers on six limited-edition pizza box designs, each featuring a different character from Minecraft Dungeons II. The lineup includes:
- Corrupted Creeper
- Prime Enchanter
- Valorie
- Zombie
- Pig
- Creeper
Domino's is also rolling out an interactive order tracker styled after Minecraft Dungeons II, which will show the status of your pizza delivery in the game's visual style. This isn't the first time the brand has mixed food with gaming pop culture, but the scale of this collaboration, 19 markets and tens of thousands of game copies, is noticeably bigger than Domino's typical promotions.
In-game items for Domino's Rewards members
Besides the game copies themselves, the promotion offers three exclusive cosmetic items, available to Domino's Rewards members on online purchases: a Domino's skin, a Slice Slayer Cape, and a Cheesy Cube Pet. This marks the first time in the game's history that a marketing partner has gotten its own companion pet implemented directly into Minecraft Dungeons II's code. The window to unlock these rewards is much longer than the game code giveaway itself, running from October 26, 2026 to January 10, 2027, with a limit of ten unlocks per order.
Kate Trumbull, Chief Marketing Officer at Domino's, commented on the collaboration by saying the brand "is always looking for new ways to bring customers closer to the brands and experiences they love." The promotional materials also framed pizza as fuel before "heading into battle," a nod to the in-game action.
Minecraft Dungeons II as context
Minecraft Dungeons II launched on September 29, 2026 on Windows, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, continuing the hack-and-slash formula of the original 2020 game. The sequel added the ability to jump, split armor into four separate pieces, charms that grant passive effects, and a new dimension called the Sift. Reviewers mainly praised how the mechanics improved over the first game: Game Informer scored the production 7.25/10, calling it "a simple, entry-level action-RPG that proves a spin-off can stand on its own and get better with a second installment," while GamesRadar described the game as an example of "how the first game should have played from the start."
For Polish players, what matters most is that the Domino's codes work globally, so in theory they can be redeemed from Poland as well, provided the local Domino's chain is participating in the promotion in that market and allows proof-of-purchase registration through the designated site. The game is only available on PC and Xbox consoles as part of this particular promotion, which is worth checking before ordering a pizza in hopes of a free code.
What's next for the collaboration
This marketing partnership is another sign that Mojang is leaning into commercial crossovers around its newer titles, much like earlier promotions for the main game were built around seasonal update launches. If the Domino's promotion proves to be a sales success, we can expect similar campaigns tied to the studio's future spin-off releases, especially since the current campaign includes an unusually long window for claiming cosmetic rewards, stretching all the way to January 2027. Players interested in the game itself can also check the full download list on the download page or browse guides covering mechanics familiar from the main series in the guides section.
